About BPR Engineering
Colin’s practical farming background (third generation farming family) means that he has experienced first-hand what it takes to make farm machinery effective, particularly when you throw some livestock into the equation. Colin has always had a love for machinery and engineering ever since the days on the farm when he could be found stripping and rebuilding headers and front-end loaders as a young boy. He also spent over 10 years in Industry as a fitter machinist at ADI, Mulwala. He set up BPR Engineering in 1996 to contract to ADI; however, due to popular demand he made the decision to provide general access to BPR Engineering’s services. Colin has extended his training to include a working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as welding and sheet-metal work. Colin has the wealth of practical working experience necessary to be able to tackle almost any engineering or machining job (no matter how big or small), including:

BPR Engineering is a small family company run by Colin Wemyss and his wife, Jacqui, currently employing seven trades people and two office staff. The most important thing for Colin and Jacqui’s customers is that BPR’s engineering work won’t fail when it really matters – whether on a busy working farm, in a mechanical workshop, or on a factory floor.
